4-week Positive Puppy Development Course

R+, fear free, ethical training

4-week course

Pups from 8wks up to 16wks

Saturday mornings

@ The Vet Collective, Miami

Our puppy classes aren’t about perfect sits or sharp recalls. They’re about building a strong foundation of safety, trust, and understanding between you and your puppy.

We recognise that every puppy comes into the world with their own temperament, some are bold and curious, others sensitive and cautious. That’s not a problem to fix. It’s a personality to get to know.

We help you learn how to see your puppy: to understand what feels safe for them, what might feel overwhelming, and how to respond in ways that support their emotional development, not just their behaviour.

Through our small, supportive sessions you’ll learn how to:

  • Build a secure attachment with your puppy to support independence.

  • Recognise the early signs of stress or overwhelm, and respond with care.

  • Support your puppy’s natural temperament, whether they’re cautious or full of beans.

  • Encourage social skills, calmness, and resilience — all without force or fear.

This is a class where all are welcomed. Where both you and your puppy get to feel safe, supported, and understood.

  • "Natalie provides simple and easy to implement training and suggestions to best train your pup for a well behaved and enjoyable life together. Would definitely recommend Doghouse Sessions for all your pup training needs!"."

  • "The sessions we had with Natalie where great. Every dog is different and every owner is different, I felt Natalie took a great interest in not only our puppy but what we wanted to achieve in our dog training goals. She clearly knows her stuff and made the training sessions fun. She was happy to answer any follow-up questions we had."

    -Scott Frewen

  • "Natalie was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about dogs! The puppy sessions were well-structured and focused on practical skills like potty training, leash walking, recall, effective communication as well as how to manage unwanted behaviours like jumping and biting. Natalie uses a positive and reward-based approach which made the whole process enjoyable for both us and our puppy. Natalie took the time to answer all our questions and in addition provided lots of helpful resources. We highly recommend Natalie."

  • "We loved having Nat share her dog wisdom! Such gentle practices but very effective in helping us understand our dog’s needs better. It’s given us more confidence with him in public and we loved how practical the tips were - not just the standard, sit, wait, roll over kind of puppy school."

  • "I took my very petit Italian greyhound to a puppy class that regarded all dogs equal. I was bullied by the trainer because I didn’t believe in dominant control of my dog. I left that class and went to Natalie’s puppy class and am so grateful that I found her. She is a compassionate, understanding dog lover that understands the individual needs of varied dog breeds. I learnt to allow my dog to sniff and be curious. I’ve learnt that dog walks are about my dog and not about me. There are many puppy classes on the Gold Coast. Please do your research before going anywhere else. I highly recommend Natalie if you regard your dog as an extension of your family and want the best for them."
